A nd he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

І він звелів кликнути й сказати в Ніневії з наказу царя та його вельмож, говорячи: Нехай не покуштують нічого ані людина, ані худоба, худоба велика чи худоба дрібна, нехай вони не пасуться, і нехай не п'ють води!
