T herefore the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.


Prandaj kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i ushtrive, Zoti: "Në të gjitha sheshet do të ketë vajtime dhe në të gjitha rrugët do të thonë: "Vaj medet, vaj medet!". Atëherë do të thërrasin bujkun të mbajë zi dhe ata që janë të aftë të qajnë të vajtojnë.
