T hen the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

Então o rei deu ordem, e trouxeram Daniel, e o lançaram na cova dos leões. Ora, disse o rei a Daniel: O teu Deus, a quem tu continuamente serves, ele te livrará.
