T hen Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Nebucadneţar a zis: „Binecuvântat să fie Dumnezeul lui Şadrak, al lui Meşak şi al lui Abed-Nego, Care l-a trimis pe îngerul Său şi i-a izbăvit pe slujitorii Săi. Ei s-au încrezut în El, au nesocotit porunca împăratului şi şi-au dat mai degrabă trupurile lor, decât să slujească şi să se închine oricărui alt dumnezeu decât Dumnezeului lor.
