A nd the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Împăratul le-a rânduit pentru fiecare zi o parte din hrana şi din vinul de la masa lui, vrând să-i crească timp de trei ani, după care, la sfârşitul acestei perioade, ei urmau să rămână în slujba împăratului.
