T herefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:

Por eso, profetiza contra ellos.» Así ha dicho Dios el Señor: «Ustedes han sido asolados. Por todos lados, gente de otras naciones se los han tragado; ¡los han convertido en su propiedad!; ¡los han hecho caer en boca de habladores, para que sean la burla de todos los pueblos!
