B ut I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

O que fiz, porém, foi por amor do meu nome, para que não fosse profanado ã vista das nações, no meio das quais eles estavam, a cujos olhos eu me dei a conhecer a eles, tirando-os da terra do Egito.
