B ehold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?

Siehe, man wirft sie ins Feuer, daß es verzehrt wird, daß das Feuer seine beiden Enden verzehrt und sein Mittles versengt; wozu sollte es nun taugen?
