E ven they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.

y enviaron a sacar a Jeremías del patio de la guardia y lo pusieron al cuidado de Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán, para que lo llevara a casa. Y se quedó en medio del pueblo.
