T herefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

Tu non pregare per questo popolo, non ti mettere a gridare né a fare suppliche per loro; perché io non li esaudirò quando grideranno a me a causa della calamità che li avrà colpiti.
