T hey have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

si sono presto sviati dalla strada che io avevo loro ordinato di seguire; si sono fatti un vitello di metallo fuso, si sono prostrati davanti ad esso, gi hanno offerto sacrifici e hanno detto: "O Israele, questo è il tuo dio che ti ha fatto uscire dal paese d'Egitto"».
