A nd when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

Ridicîndu-şi ochii de departe, nu l-au mai cunoscut. Şi au ridicat glasul şi au plîns. Şi-au sfîşiat mantalele, şi au aruncat cu ţărînă în văzduh deasupra capetelor lor.
