Esther 2:8 ~ Estera 2:8

S o it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

Cînd s'a auzit porunca împăratului şi hotărîrea lui, au fost strînse un mare număr de fete în capitala Susa, supt privegherea lui Hegai. Odată cu ele a fost luată şi Estera şi adusă în casa împăratului, subt privegherea lui Hegai, păzitorul femeilor.
