A nd the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man's pleasure.

In base alla legge nessuno era obbligato a bere, il re infatti aveva ordinato a tutti i funzionari della sua casa di servire a ognuno quel che voleva.
