Nehemiah 9:8 ~ Neemias 9:8

A nd foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:

Viste que o coração dele era fiel, e fizeste com ele uma aliança, prometendo dar aos seus descendentes a terra dos cananeus, dos hititas, dos amorreus, dos ferezeus, dos jebuseus e dos girgaseus. E cumpriste a tua promessa porque tu és justo.
