N evertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.

Ma essi hanno disubbidito, si sono ribellati contro di te, si sono gettati la tua legge dietro le spalle, hanno ucciso i tuoi profeti che li scongiuravano di tornare a te e ti hanno oltraggiato gravemente.
