F or Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

فَقَدْ كانَ عَزْرا قَد هَيَّأ قَلبَهُ لِدِراسَةِ شَرِيعَةِ اللهِ وَالعَمَلِ بِها، وَلِتَعلِيمِ وَصايا اللهِ وَفَرائِضِهِ لِبَنِي إسْرائِيلَ. رسالةُ الملكِ أرْتَحْشَسْتا إلَى عَزْرا
