M oreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the Lord which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

Toate căpeteniile preoţilor, precum şi poporul şi-au înmulţit şi ei nelegiuirile, luându-se după toate obiceiurile idolatre ale neamurilor şi au pângărit Casa Domnului, pe care El o sfinţise la Ierusalim.
