A nd he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines.

Uzías salió a combatir contra los filisteos, y derribó la muralla de Gat, la muralla de Jabnia y la muralla de Asdod; además, reconstruyó ciudades en Asdod y en la tierra de los filisteos.
