M oreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.

亞 瑪 謝 招 聚 猶 大 人 ， 按 著 猶 大 和 便 雅 憫 的 宗 族 設 立 千 夫 長 、 百 夫 長 ， 又 數 點 人 數 ， 從 二 十 歲 以 外 ， 能 拿 槍 拿 盾 牌 出 去 打 仗 的 精 兵 共 有 三 十 萬 ；
