1 Chronicles 21:17 ~ 1 Crónicas 21:17

A nd David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O Lord my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.

Y dijo David a Dios: —¿No soy yo el que hizo contar al pueblo? Yo mismo soy el que pequé, y ciertamente he hecho mal; pero estas ovejas, ¿qué han hecho? Jehová Dios mío, caiga ahora tu mano sobre mí, y sobre la casa de mi padre, pero no envíes la peste sobre tu pueblo.
