1 Chronicles 12:17 ~ 1 Chroniques 12:17

A nd David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

David sortit au-devant d'eux, et leur adressa la parole, en disant: Si vous venez à moi dans de bonnes intentions pour me secourir, mon coeur s'unira à vous; mais si c'est pour me tromper au profit de mes ennemis, quand je ne commets aucune violence, que le Dieu de nos pères le voie et qu'il fasse justice!
