A nd David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.

وَذَهَبَ داوُدُ وَكُلُّ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ، أي يَبُوسَ، حَيثُ كانَ اليَبُوسِيُّونَ، وَهُمْ سُكّانُ الأرْضِ الأصلِيُّونَ، مازالُوا يَسْكُنُونَ.
