1 Chronicles 11:19 ~ I Sử Ký 11:19

A nd said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.

mà nói rằng: Cầu Chúa giữ lấy tôi, đừng để tôi làm sự nầy; tôi hẳn không uống huyết của ba người nầy, đã liều thân mình đặng đem nước đến. Vì cớ ấy nên người không chịu uống. Aáy là công việc của ba người mạnh dạn đó đã làm.
