T hey arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.

toţi războinicii, au luat trupul lui Saul şi trupurile fiilor săi şi le-au adus la Iabeş. Le-au îngropat oasele sub terebintul din Iabeş şi au postit timp de şapte zile.
