F or the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

因 為 主 使 亞 蘭 人 的 軍 隊 聽 見 車 馬 的 聲 音 ， 是 大 軍 的 聲 音 ； 他 們 就 彼 此 說 ： 這 必 是 以 色 列 王 賄 買 赫 人 的 諸 王 和 埃 及 人 的 諸 王 來 攻 擊 我 們 。
