2 Kings 7:12 ~ 2 Re 7:12

A nd the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.

Il re si alzò di notte e disse ai suoi servitori: «Vi voglio dire io quel che ci hanno fatto i Siri. Sanno che patiamo la fame; sono quindi usciti dall’accampamento a nascondersi per la campagna, dicendo: “Appena usciranno dalla città, li prenderemo vivi ed entreremo nella città”».
