A nd like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.

Prima di lui non ci fu alcun re che, come lui, sia ritornato all'Eterno con tutto il suo cuore, con tutta la sua anima e con tutta la sua forza, secondo tutta la legge di Mosè; neppure dopo di lui è sorto alcuno come lui.
