H ast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

Non l’hai udito? Da lungo tempo ho preparato questo; dai tempi antichi ne ho ideato il progetto; e ora ho fatto in modo che si compia: che tu riduca città forti in monti di rovine.
