B ut Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.

Amasías no se dio por aludido. Entonces el rey Joás de Israel se puso en marcha a Bet Semes, que está en Judá, y allí se vieron las caras el rey Amasías de Judá y él.
