A nd the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

Da ward der Mann Gottes zornig auf ihn und sprach: Hättest du fünf-oder sechsmal geschlagen, so würdest du die Syrer geschlagen haben, bis sie aufgerieben wären; nun aber wirst du sie dreimal schlagen.
