A nd the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king.

– Ba nu! a zis cealaltă femeie. Fiul meu este cel viu, iar cel mort este al tău! Dar cea dintâi a răspuns: – Nu, nu! Fiul tău este cel mort, iar fiul meu este cel viu! Aşa se certau ele înaintea regelui.
