N ow the men did diligently observe whether any thing would come from him, and did hastily catch it: and they said, Thy brother Benhadad. Then he said, Go ye, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.

Os homens interpretaram isso como um bom sinal e de imediato aproveitaram o que ele tinha dito. “Isso mesmo, teu irmão Ben-Hadade!”, disseram. “Tragam-no aqui”, disse o rei. Quando Ben-Hadade chegou, Acabe o fez subir no seu carro.
