F or thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel:, Făina din oală nu va scădea şi untdelemnul din ulcior nu se va împuţina, pînă în ziua cînd va da Domnul ploaie pe faţa pămîntului.``
