A nd David said to Joab, and to all the people that were with him, Rend your clothes, and gird you with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And king David himself followed the bier.

Davide disse a Ioab e a tutto il popolo che era con lui: «Stracciatevi le vesti, cingetevi di sacco e fate cordoglio per la morte di Abner!» Il re andò dietro alla bara.
