I n that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.

amando a los que te aborrecen, y aborreciendo a los que te aman; porque hoy has demostrado que nada te importan tus príncipes y siervos; pues ahora estoy comprendiendo que si Absalón viviera, aunque todos nosotros estuviéramos muertos, entonces estarías contento.
