2 Samuel 14:11 ~ II Sa-mu-ên 14:11

T hen said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the Lord thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the Lord liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.

Nàng tiếp rằng: Tôi cầu xin vua hãy chỉ Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của vua làm chứng rằng kẻ báo thù huyết chớ làm hại tôi càng nặng hơn, và giết con trai tôi. Vua đáp: Ta chỉ Đức Giê-hô-va hằng sống mà thề rằng, một sợi tóc sẽ chẳng rụng xuống khỏi đầu của con trai ngươi!
