Genesis 37:22 ~ Gênesis 37:22

A nd Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

Também lhes disse Rúben: Não derrameis sangue; lançai-o nesta cova, que está no deserto, e não lanceis mão nele. Disse isto para livrá-lo das mãos deles, a fim de restituí-lo a seu pai.
