A nd he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

A zidit acolo un altar, şi a numit locul acela:,, El-Betel`` (Dumnezeul Betelului), căci acolo i se descoperise Dumnezeu, cînd fugea de fratele său.
