A nd Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.

فَقالَ إبْراهِيمُ: «قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: ‹لا بُدَّ أنَّهُ لَيسَ هُناكَ فِي هَذا المَكانِ مَنْ يَتَّقِي اللهَ. وَلِهَذا فَإنَّهُمْ سَيَقْتُلُونَنِي لِأجلِ زَوْجَتِي.›
