N ow Eli was ninety-eight years old, and his eyes had become dim so that he could not see.

فَقَدْ كانَ عالِي فِي الثّامِنَةِ وَالتِّسعِينَ مِنْ عُمْرِهِ. وَكانَ أعمَى، فَلَمْ يَقدِرْ أنْ يَرَى ما يَحدُثُ.
