T hen said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword and thrust me through with it lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not, for he was sore afraid. Therefore, Saul took his sword and fell upon it.

Entonces dijo Saúl a su escudero: Saca tu espada, y traspásame con ella, para que no vengan esos incircuncisos y hagan mofa de mí. Mas su escudero no quería, porque tenía gran temor. Entonces tomó Saúl su propia espada y se echó sobre ella.
