A nd when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, his friends, saying, Behold a blessing for you of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD:

وَعِندَما وَصَلَ داوُدُ إلَى صِقلِغَ، أرسَلَ بَعضاً مِنَ الأشياءِ الَّتِي غَنِمَها مِنْ عَمالِيقَ إلَى أصدِقائِهِ قادَةِ يَهُوذا. وَقالَ لَهُمْ: «هَذِهِ هَدِيَّةٌ لَكُمْ أخَذناها منْ أعداءِ اللهِ.»
