B ehold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee today into my hand in the cave, and some bade me kill thee, but I forgave thee, and I said, I will not put forth my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD’s anointed.

Ecco, in questo giorno tu vedi con i tuoi occhi che oggi il Signore ti aveva dato nelle mie mani in quella caverna; qualcuno mi disse di ucciderti, ma io ti ho risparmiato e ho detto: “Non metterò le mani addosso al mio signore, perché egli è l’unto del Signore ”.
