A nd Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the petition which was asked of the LORD. And they went unto their own home.

Éli bénit Elkana et sa femme, en disant: Que l'Éternel te fasse avoir des enfants de cette femme, pour remplacer celui qu'elle a prêté à l'Éternel! Et ils s'en retournèrent chez eux.
