A nd David went out wherever Saul sent him and behaved himself prudently, and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul’s slaves.

David se ducea şi izbutea ori unde -l trimetea Saul; a fost pus de Saul în fruntea oamenilor de răboi, şi era plăcut întregului popor, chiar şi slujitorilor lui Saul.
