T hen David spoke to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that overcomes this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should dishonour the armies of the living God?

Entonces habló David a los que estaban junto a él, diciendo: ¿Qué harán al hombre que venza a este filisteo, y quite el oprobio de Israel? Porque ¿quién es este filisteo incircunciso, para injuriar a las huestes del Dios viviente?
