T hen Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him from among his brethren; and the Spirit of the LORD prospered David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

Allora Samuele prese il corno dell'olio e lo unse in mezzo ai suoi fratelli; da quel giorno in poi lo Spirito dell'Eterno investì Davide. Poi Samuele si levò e andò a Ramah.
