I t grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments. And it incensed Samuel, and he cried unto the LORD all night.

«Estoy muy disgustado por haber hecho rey de Israel a Saúl, pues se ha apartado de mí y no ha cumplido con lo que le ordené hacer.» Cuando Samuel oyó esto, se llenó de pesar, y toda esa noche le estuvo rogando al Señor por Saúl.
