A nd all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy slaves unto the LORD thy God that we not die, for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask for a king over us.

Весь народ сказал Самуилу: − Помолись Господу, твоему Богу, за твоих слуг, чтобы нам не умереть, ведь ко всем нашим прочим грехам мы прибавили еще один, попросив себе царя.
